The Government of Pakistan (GoP) is embarking on an $8 billion investment program to build new LNG terminals, gas transmission pipelines, and combined-cycle gas turbine power stations. GoP is formulating a new Oil and Gas Onshore and Offshore Exploration Policy, as well as a new energy policy to attract U.S. investment in Pakistan’s oil and gas sectors.
